EWSKA Open International Championships
The EWSKA Open International Championships has taken place on 20 February 2010 in Birmingham attended by 6 Hungarian competitors (Elizabeth Aszódi, Anett Asztalos, Enikő Bodnár, Andrea Rapcsányi, Attila Czímer, and Tamás Pénzes) and by international referee Csaba Bárdi dr. Our people did again very well this year and won almost every category they applied for. They got altogether 11 medals which is a great performance taking into account that less categories were announced than in the past years. For example boys and girls were competing in the same kata kategories and the senior male and female kata categories were also mixed up. Kumite has not been divided into weight-classes, so 30-40 athletes could compete in the adult categories.
